One Of The Best Award

Second Chance Employment Services (SCES) has recieved the "One of The Best Award" from Calatogue For Philanthropy.

SCES shared their wish list of :

• $100 for travel to and from 12 interviews and appointments
• $500 for wardrobe for a new job
• $1000 for 2 computer stations to train their clients

SCES was selected as one of the best vetted, community based non-profit to help raise visability and resources.

SCES can recieve online donations through Network for Good, an online donation service specific to help charities in good standing with the IRS and in compliance with the Patriot Act.

Our Last Kiss of Summer Gala is kicking off in excitement for our upcoming event! The picture above is from our silent auction from our 2006 Gala. Nancy Mraz, President of HP Productions, Inc., (seen in the center with the sassy print top) and Janice Nicols of Serenity Day Spas (seen at the right in the lovely black dress), are both admiring some of our donated auction items.

Second Chance Employment Services will begin taking donation forms soon for our silent auction. In the right margin of this blog we will soon be hosting a list of those who have donated their items to our silent auction as we count down to September 27th!
